Lung Conditions of COVID-19 Patient – The case of Covid-19 disease caused by Coronavirus is still increasing.
The disease was first detected at the end of 2019 in Wuhan as a case of pneumonia with unknown causes. Then, it is known that the cause of this pneumonia is a new coronavirus.
The Virus has been declared as a pandemic by the International Health Organization (WHO), the majority of people infected with Covid-19 has mild symptoms, or common cold-like symptoms.
WHO also said about 80 percent of the Covid-19 sufferers recovered without requiring special care. Only one in six people is experiencing serious symptoms and difficulty breathing.
Lung conditions of the patient infected with Coronavirus
Lung conditions of the patient infected with Coronavirus are apparently not like people with pneumonia or common cold. It was revealed by a doctor at George Washington University Hospital, Dr. Keith Mortman.
Through a model presented by virtual Reality (VR), Dr Keith Mortman decays an explanation of how lung conditions Covid-19 patients.
In a video shared Surgical Theater account on his YouTube page, VR problem lung condition of Corona virus patients is presented in a four-dimensional form.
The Video shows the visuals of how the Covid-19 can damage the patient’s lungs.
He created VR (virtual reality) lung from patients who were actually treated because of Corona virus in the hospital.
The rendering results were quite surprising, as it showed how widespread damage was caused by the new Corona virus Sars-CoV-2, triggering the Covid-19 outbreak.
According to him, it has a strong message to be conveyed to the public.

ARDS & COVID-19
Many people who are suspected of exposure to Corona Covid-19 have mild symptoms. Some patients experience severe respiratory disease and may need to be treated in intensive care.
In a new video, the lung pathologist Sanjay Mukhopadhyay, MD, described the details of how the lungs were infected with the Corona Covid-19.
This 15-minute Video discusses how the Covid-19 causes a potent condition as an acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). So, what is the relationship between coronavirus and ARDS?
The researchers discovered 50 of the 54 patients who died of the Covid-19 developing ARDS while only nine of the 137 survivors suffered from the ARDS.
If you suffer from the ARDS, you will have symptoms such as sudden shortness of breath, rapid breathing, dizziness, rapid heartbeat, and excessive sweating.
4 Major Categories of COVID-19 Sufferers
Prof. John Wilson, elected president of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and a lung physician, said that the people affected by the Covid-19 can be placed in four major categories.
Have No Symptoms
The least serious are those who are sub-clinical and who have viruses but have no symptoms.
Those who get an infection in the upper respiratory tract
Next, it is those who get infections of the upper respiratory tract, which means a person suffers from fever and cough. It can also appear lighter symptoms such as headaches or conjunctivitis.
People with mild symptoms can still transmit viruses, but may not realize it.
Those who develop flu-like symptoms that usually make them not work
The largest group of them will be positive COVID-19 and the people who are most likely to come to the hospital and surgery, are those who develop flu-like symptoms that usually make them not work.
Patients who experience severe symptoms
The fourth group, said Wilson, those who will develop a severe illness accompanied by pneumonia. In Wuhan turned out from those who tested the positive COVID-19 and sought medical help, about 6 percent suffered severe illness (former or accompanying).
WHO also mentions that older people or with a history of diseases such as high blood pressure, heart problems, and lung problems or diabetes, have a greater possibility of experiencing more serious symptoms.
