All doses should be administered 30 minutes before bedtime. Duration of treatment: ≤3 months.
How to Use Nortriptyline HCL
Take this medicine by mouth, usually 1 to 4 times a day or as advised by the doctor. If you use liquid form drugs, measure the dosage with a special measuring spoon. Do not use a regular spoon at home as you may not get the right dosage.
The drug may not work immediately. You will be able to see the effect within a week. Your body takes about 4 weeks to feel the effects.
