Stress is not always characterized by a gloomy face, empty, crying constantly, quickly angry, or frustrated. True, these stress attack symptoms are indeed experienced by some people who are stressed. But before reaching that stage there are symptoms that are an early sign of a stress attack.
Stress Attack Symptoms
1. Difficulty sleeping.
Be careful if you find it difficult to sleep for no good reason. Many people have trouble sleeping at night because they are constantly thinking about things that may not go perfectly, and continue to regret them. Not infrequently they also wake up in the middle of the night, and it is difficult to fall back asleep.
2. Aches and pains.
Research proves that one stressful thought can cause changes in all the processes that occur in the human body. The aches and pains experienced are actually a reaction of the body to the fatigue faced. If you already feel this way, you should be careful not to stress and get sick.
3. Not excited.
Spirit is one of the things that are needed to do various activities. Stress not only affects processes in the human body, but also in the body’s cell regeneration system. Cells that are hampered by regeneration, will need more energy to regenerate new cells. As a result, the energy for physical activity becomes less.
4. Unfocused.
Stress greatly affects your mind, including focusing on something. Have you ever thought about many things at once? For example, you’re thinking about a new job, and 2 minutes later you think about something else before finishing the first job. This behavior will not only stress you out because your work is not finished yet, but it will also solve the concentration of a lot of work piling up. If not addressed, it can cause high levels of stress.
5. Thinking is not clear.
Have you ever been confused about expressing something in words or writing a report? Or are you often confused about starting a job? This is a sign that you are under stress. The levels of adrenaline and cortisol in your brain system’s flow are at excessive levels, or so-called cortisol inhibition, which means we can’t access the parts of the brain responsible for making decisions, solving problems, and thinking creatively.
6. Loss of sense of humor.
When you are in the symptoms of stress, you become too serious thinking about things. Remember the times you can laugh at all the mistakes you make, and when you can smile spontaneously because of various joyous things. When we are stressed, our point of view begins to narrow and we begin to look at things from a serious side.
7. Think negative.
Can you see the good in others? If you judge someone more often on the negative side, then be careful. Many people do not realize that this tendency is actually one of early stress attack symptoms. When stressed, our mind becomes unclear and tends to think about everything bad about others.
It’s a good idea to recognize these signs so that you immediately realize that you are experiencing stress. If you have already experienced stress, take a deep breath, and take a break from the activities you are doing now. Once the mind is clear again, go back to your previous activities.
